There will be LA 40 Eastbound and Westbound alternating lane closures using moving operations from Barnett Road to LA 1062, from 6AM to 6PM, beginning on Thursday, November 13, 2025 through Friday, November 28, 2025, weather permitting, while crews install roadway striping.
Permit Information:
No restrictions for oversized loads.
Detour Information:
Motorists may use the following routes to avoid the work zone:
Motorists traveling LA 40 west may take LA 40 south to LA 442, then west to US 51, then north to re-intersect LA 40.
Motorists traveling LA 40 east may take US 51 south to LA 442, then east to re-intersect LA 40.
