DOTD announces a $1 million project to improve LA 380 from LA 14 to LA 26 to begin Nov. 10, 2025 – Jefferson Davis Parish

Jefferson Davis Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced that work on a $1.01 million project to improve LA 380 from LA 14 to LA 26 in Lake Arthur is scheduled to begin Monday, November 10, 2025.
Motorists can expect intermittent daily lane closures in both directions of LA 380 from 7 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. until the completion of the project. The project is anticipated to be complete by spring 2026, weather permitting.
Closures will be necessary for crews to complete milling of asphalt pavement, pavement patching, pavement widening, asphalt concrete overlay, and related work.
R.E. Heidt is the contractor for the project.
