The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that LA 1 Northbound and Southbound will have intermittent left and right lane closures beginning Wednesday, November 12, 2025, to Friday, November 21, 2025, from 7:00pm to 4:00am. These lane closures are necessary to allow the contractor to clean debris off of the bridge.
DOTD urges all drivers to reduce speed, obey posted signage, and remain alert for construction personnel and equipment operating in the work zone.
