LANE CLOSURES: LA 1207 from LA 115 TO LA 28, Rapides Parish The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announces the start of a $4.5 million project to repair a 4.6 mile section of LA 1207 west of Deville in Rapides Parish.
Work is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at 8:00 AM, weather permitting, and alternating lane closures will be necessary to allow construction to progress safely and efficiently.
These lane closures will start at the intersection of LA 1207 and LA 115 and will continue to the intersection of LA 1207 and LA 28 east.
The project includes replacing drainage structures, milling asphalt, pavement patching, asphalt surface treatment, asphalt concrete overlay and related work.
All work is anticipated to be completed by March 2026, with progress dependent on weather conditions and other factors that can impact construction timelines.
The contract was awarded to Diamond B Construction Co., LLC.
Permit/Detour section:
A 12-foot width restriction will be in place on LA 1207 between LA 115 and LA 28.
There are no detours associated with this project.
