DOTD announces a $1.7 million project to improve lighting on I-10 at LA 97 (Jennings interchange) – Jefferson Davis Parish

Jefferson Davis Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced that work has begun on a $1.7 million project that will replace lighting along Interstate 10 at the LA 97 interchange in Jennings.
Motorists should expect intermittent shoulder closures along LA 97, the I-10 on- and off-ramps, and the I-10 Frontage throughout the duration of the project.
The project is expected to be complete by December 2026, weather permitting.
Ernest P. Breaux Electrical is the contractor for the project.
