US 165, Caldwell Parish (H.013202) *Update: Project Extended until May 22, 2026*

Update (4/24/2026): US 165 in Caldwell Parish (H.013202) will have intermittent, short distance lane closures while the contractor installs permanent striping and completes bump grinding while under the temporary posted speed limit of 55 mph. The work is expected to be completed by Friday, May 22, 2026.


Update (3/27/2026): US 165 in Caldwell Parish (H.013202) will have a temporary posted speed limit of 55 mph while the contractor completes striping and bump grinding for this project. The contractor will perform these activities as a moving operation.


Update (1/12/2026): US 165 in Caldwell Parish (H.013202) beginning at the intersection of US 165 and LA 4 to the beginning (southern side) of the Union Pacific Railroad overpass alternating lane closures has been extended to Friday, March 27, 2026.


(10/27/2025) (H.013202) US 165 in Caldwell Parish beginning at the intersection of US 165 and LA 4 to the beginning (southern side) of the Union Pacific Railroad overpass will have alternating lane closures from Monday through Friday (Days only - No night work expected) beginning Monday, November 3, 2025, through Friday, January 16, 2026, in order for the contractor to complete asphalt patching, mill, overlay and other related road work.

Permit/Detour: No detour necessary. Alternating lane closures only.
