UPDATE: This closure has been extended through Tuesday, October 28th from 8:00am until 4:00pm.
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced there will be alternating lane closures on LA 3256 (approximately 0.2 miles east of Hungerford Rd) on Monday, October 27, 2025 from 9:00am until 4:00pm.
Traffic in both directions will be maintained via flagging operation.
The closures are necessary for routine bridge maintenance.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
