I-20 Mississippi River Bridge in Vicksburg

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that daytime alternating lane closures will be present on the I-20 Vicksburg Bridge the week of October 27, 2025, for bridge work. Lane Closures are scheduled from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. It is expected that the eastbound right lane will be closed October 28-29, and that the eastbound left lane will be closed October 30.
The bridge work will be performed weather permitting.
Restrictions:
Maximum vehicle width is 16 feet during the lane closures. Lane closures will be removed nightly.
Detour:
No formal detour will be established.
