LA 442 Left and Right Lane Closures from I-55 Overpass to US 51 Intersection – Tangipahoa Parish – Asphalt Overlay

There will be intermittent and alternating lane closures on LA 442, between the I-55 Overpass and the US 51 Intersection, from 6AM to 6PM, beginning on Monday, November 3, 2025 through Friday, November 28, 2025, weather permitting, while DOTD crews install an asphalt overlay.
Permit Information:
Oversized loads are restricted to 12 feet in width.
Detour Information:
Motorists may use the following routes to avoid the workzone:
Motorists traveling LA 442 east may take I-55 north to LA 40 (Exit 40), then east to US 51, then south to re-intersect LA 442.
Motorists traveling LA 442 west may take US 51 north to LA 40, then west to I-55, then south to re-intersect LA 442 (Exit 36).
