NIGHTTIME LANE CLOSURES: I-220 Cross Lake Bridge westbound, Caddo Parish The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that beginning on the night of Monday, November 3, 2025, a portion of the inside westbound lane on the I-220 bridge over Cross Lake in Shreveport, Caddo Parish will be closed.
These nighttime lane closures are scheduled to take place from approximately 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. nightly for four (4) nights, and are necessary to allow crews with the City of Shreveport to perform repairs to the street lighting system on the bridge.
This lane closure is located approximately 1.3 miles west of the LA 173 (Hilry Huckaby III) interchange.
Restrictions/Permits: Previously permitted oversized loads will be accommodated through the work zone.
Alternate Route: No detour necessary.
This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment. Remember to leave plenty of room between you and the vehicle in front of you.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
