Tangipahoa Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces updated details regarding previously closed sections of US 51 and LA 10 in Roseland.
Starting at 6 p.m. on Friday, previously closed sections of US 51 and LA 10 through Roseland will reopen to traffic.
LA 10 will have alternating lane closures as crews continue to clean ditches and other areas adjacent to the highway. These closures will mainly take place between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. and involve a flagging operation to provide access for residents, though drivers are encouraged to take alternate routes to avoid delays.
Officials urge all motorists in the area to proceed with caution, slow down, and watch out for large vehicles working nearby.
