NIGHTTIME RAMP CLOSURES: I-49 NB off-ramp to I-20 EB (I-20 rehab project), Caddo Parish
SHREVEPORT – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that beginning on the night of Monday, October 27, 2025, the I-49 northbound off-ramp to I-20 eastbound in Shreveport will experience nightly closures.
This ramp closure is scheduled to take place from approximately 7:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. nightly through Thursday, October 30, 2025, and is necessary to allow the contractor to safely and efficiently perform concrete pavement repairs near this location as part of the ongoing I-20 major rehabilitation project.

Permits/restrictions: Total ramp closure at the specified location. All vehicles will need to detour.
Alternate route: Detour signage will be in place directing motorists back to I-20 eastbound.
This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
