DOTD & City of Ruston to host public meeting for upcoming frontage road project RUSTON – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development and the City of Ruston will host a public meeting for the I-20 at Tarbutton Road/Frontage Road project in Lincoln Parish.
The project proposes to improve the I-20 at Tarbutton Road interchange and provide a two-way frontage road between a new proposed travel center and the Grambling/LA 149 interchange to the its west.
The meeting will be held in open-house format, during which attendees can come and go to learn more about the project and provide input at any point during the allotted time frame.
Meeting details are as follows:
Thursday, October 30, 2025 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Ruston Junior High School 481 Tarbutton Road Ruston, LA 71270 At the meeting, there will be exhibits showing the proposed improvements and frontage road, project information exhibits, and staff available to discuss the project. All interested stakeholders are encouraged to attend the open house, as feedback from the community is a critical aspect of the project development process.
Verbal comments can be recorded during the meeting, and written comments can be submitted at the meeting or via email to the following address: [email protected]
Written comments should be postmarked/timestamped no later than November 10, 2025 to be included in the meeting transcript. Comments should include the name and address of the person commenting.
