UPDATE: La. 82 at Old Intracoastal Canal (Little Prairie Bridge) is now OPEN to traffic.
VERMILION PARISH, La. - DOTD announces that effective immediately La. 82 at Old Intracoastal Canal (Little Prairie Bridge), is closed to vehicular traffic to allow crews to perform emergency electrical work on the bridge.
Motorists are encouraged to use an alternate route.
DOTD will notify the public once the bridge is reopened to traffic.
