INTERMITTENT LANE CLOSURES: I-220 near I-49, Caddo Parish The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that on Saturday, October 18th and Sunday, October 19, 2025, there will be intermittent lane closures on I-220 between the US 71 (N. Market St) and I-49 interchanges in Shreveport.
These intermittent lane closures will take place in both directions as needed between 6:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. only, and are necessary to allow SWEPCO to replace their overhead lines that stretch across the interstate.
Please drive with caution through the area, and watch for crews and equipment.
Restrictions/Permits: All previoiusly permitted oversized loads will be allowed through the area.
Alternate Route: N/A
This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
