Duperior Bridge on LA 86 over Bayou Teche, Iberia Parish, Lane Closure for Bridge Inspections

The Duperior Bridge on LA 86 over Bayou Teche will be reduced to one lane Thursday, October 23 and Friday, October 24, daily, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., weather permitting.
This closure is necessary to allow crews to perform a structural inspection of the bridge.
Emergency vehicles will have access to the area but may experience delays and should seek alternate routes. Alternate routes will consist of LA 182, LA 87 (N Lewis Street) and LA 86 (Loreauville Road).
The road will be open to regular traffic with a 14-foot lane restriction on oversized loads passing through the work zone.
