The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorist of intermittent road closures on HWY 22 approximately 2.07 miles south of I-10 in the Sorrento/Gonzales area. Road closures are expected to take place Thursday, October 23, 2025 through Saturday, November 15, 2025 from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM daily. Road closures will be held in 15 minute intervals allowing traffic to flow in 10 minute increments. This closure is necessary to allow Entergy to install powerlines across HWY 22.
