Emergency Lane Closure: Portion of I-10 Eastbound to Close Nightly in East Baton Rouge Parish

Baton Rouge, LA – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announces that there will be an emergency closure on I-10 eastbound to repair a damaged section of roadway approaching the City Park Lake Bridge in Baton Rouge. These lane closures are necessary to allow the contractor to remove the deteriorated pavement panels, repair the underlying subgrade and repave the bridge approach. DOTD advises motorists that construction activities are contingent on weather conditions and may be subject to change.
Nighttime closures:
- I-10 EB from I-110/ I-10 split to E. Lakeshore Dr.
- Tuesday, Oct. 14 to Wednesday, Oct. 15
- The left and middle lanes will be closed from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- I-10 EB from I-110/ I-10 split to E. Lakeshore Dr.
- Wednesday, Oct. 15 to Saturday, Oct. 18
- The middle and right lanes will be closed nightly from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- I-10 EB Braddock St. On-Ramp
- Wednesday, Oct. 15 to Saturday, Oct. 18
- Nightly ramp closure from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- I-10 EB Lori Burgess Ave. Off-Ramp
- Wednesday, Oct. 15 to Saturday, Oct. 18
- Nightly ramp closure from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- I-10 EB Dalrymple Dr. Off-Ramp
- Wednesday, Oct. 15 to Saturday, Oct. 18
- Nightly ramp closure from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
