The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that on Wednesday, October 15th, 2025 that DOTD Maintenance forces will begin a mill and overlay operation that will require periodic lane closures on Northbound US 165 north of Pollock in Grant Parish. The work area will begin 1.2 Miles north of the intersection of LA 8 and US 165 in Pollock and proceed north for 8 miles to the intersection of US 165 and LA 123 in the Breezy Hill area.
The intent of this work is to mill out and overlay sections of Northbound US 165. DOTD will maintain thru traffic at all times, but periodic lane closures and delays can be expected. The public is advised to remain alert to construction signs and changing roadway conditions.
Permit/Detour section
Thru traffic will be maintained at all times with oversize and emergency vehicles allowed passage. There will be no detour routes for this project.
