***UPDATE***Exit 8 Vinton On-ramp from LA 108 to I-10 WB closed through January 2026 – Calcasieu Parish

Calcasieu Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced the Exit 8 Vinton on-ramp from LA 108 to I-10 Westbound remains closed through January 2026.
Detour route:
Vehicles traveling on LA 108 wanting to get on I-10 WB should enter I-10 EB from LA 108 and travel east to Exit 20. Take Exit 20, turn left to go north, and follow signage to enter I-10 WB.
Safety reminder:
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
