Calcasieu Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced that the Interstate 10 turnaround (Exit 1) under the Sabine Bridge will be closed, beginning 7 p.m. Friday, October 10, 2025, until 6 a.m. Friday, November 28, 2025.
This closure is necessary for crews to conduct concrete roadway patching. This turnaround ramp will remain usable by emergency personnel.
The right lanes of I-10 EB and WB at the turnaround will be closed from 7 p.m. Friday, October 10, 2025, through 6 a.m. Saturday, October 11, 2025. This closure is necessary for crews to move temporary concrete barriers.

Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
