LA 442 Left and Right Lane Closures from Ridgecrest Dr. to LA 40 Intersection – Tangipahoa Parish – Asphalt Overlay

There will be intermittent and alternating lane closures on LA 442, between Ridgecrest Drive and the LA 40 intersection, from 6AM to 6PM, beginning on Monday, October 20, 2025 through Friday, November 14, 2025, weather permitting, while DOTD crews install an asphalt overlay.
Permit Information:
Oversized loads are restricted to 12 feet in width.
Detour Information:
Motorists may use the following routes to avoid the workzone:
Motorists traveling LA 442 east may take LA 1065 south to LA 1064, then east to LA 443, then north to re-intersect LA 442.
Motorists traveling LA 442 west may take LA 443 south to LA 1064, then west to LA 1065, then north to re-intersect LA 442.
