DOTD announces completion of Nation Road Bridge Replacement and La. 365 Preservation projects in Acadia Parish

ACADIA PARISH, La. - Today, DOTD announced the completion of the Nation Road Bridge replacement project, as well as the La. 365 preservation project in Acadia Parish.
The $781,000 Nation Road Bridge replacement project involved replacing a timber bridge on Nation Road over Coulee Duralde and replacing it with a box culverts in Acadia Parish. This project began in August 2024 and was finalized in late summer 2025.
As a preservation project, the work on La. 365 involved reconstructing a 1.995-mile stretch of La. 365 from La. 370 to La. 13 in Acadia Parish. Work began on this $3.1M project in July 2024 and was finaled in summer 2025.
Since January 2024, more than $44 million has been invested in infrastructure projects throughout Acadia Parish.
