Sampson Street NB and SB Daily Shoulder Closure (from I-10 Intersection Northbound 800 Feet) - Calcasieu Parish

Calcasieu Parish - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced the northbound and southbound shoulders on Sampson Street from the I-10 intersection North approximately 800 feet will be closed from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. daily, beginning Monday, September 29, 2025, through Monday, October 6, 2025.
The closure is necessary for directional boring in the grass areas off the shoulders. Work will be conducted weather permitting.

Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
