UPDATE - LANE CLOSURES - I-20 at Exit 116A and 117A, Ouachita Parish

(UPDATE 9/30/2025): DOTD advises motorists the below referenced nighttime lane closures have been rescheduled to take place on Monday, October 6th and Tuesday, October 7th.
The lane closures will take place from approximately 8:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. each night.

Original notification - 9/25/2025:
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that on Wednesday, October 1, 2025 and Thursday, October 2, 2025, there will be intermittent lane closures on I-20 eastbound and westbound around mile markers 116 and 117 in Monroe, Ouachita Parish.
These lane closures are scheduled to take place from approximately 8:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m., and are necessary to allow for the repair of the crash attenuators located at the top of the off-ramps.
A crash attenuator, also known as an impact attenuator, is a safety device intended to reduce the damage to vehicles, structures, and motorists. They are designed to absorb the colliding vehicle's energy.
This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.

Safety reminder: DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment. Remember to leave plenty of room between you and the vehicle in front of you.
