Closure: PPG Drive at Kansas City Southern railroad crossing, south of I-10 Exit 26 interchange – Calcasieu Parish

Calcasieu Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced that PPG Drive will be closed at the Kansas City Southern railroad crossing directly south of Interstate 10 Exit 26 interchange, beginning at 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. on Wednesday, September 17, 2025.
The closure is necessary for replacement of the railroad crossing.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
