The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that the will be a full road closure on LA 987-1 starting at 6:00am on Friday September 12, 2025 and will re-open at 6:00 am, Saturday September 13, 2025 due to road repairs. Please use alternate routes during closure.
DOTD urges all drivers to reduce speed, obey posted signage, and remain alert for construction personnel and equipment operating in the work zone.
