I-55 Southbound Left Lane and Shoulder Closures from US 51 (Exit 1) to the I-10 Interchange (Milepost 210.5) - St. John Parish

The I-55 Southbound left lane and shoulder will be closed from US 51 (Exit 1) to the I-10 Interchange (Milepost 210.5), beginning at 6am through 2pm, on Saturday, September 13, 2025, weather permitting, for sign replacement and tree trimming operations. The right lane will remain open to traffic.
Permit Information:
No restrictions for oversized loads.
Detour Information:
Motorists may use the following routes to avoid the work zone:
Motorists traveling I-55 south may take Ruddock Exit 7, then south on US 51 to US 61, then east to I-310, then north to intersect I-10.
Motorists traveling I-10 west may take I-310 south to US 61, then west to US 51, then north to intersect I-55.
