The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that, weather permitting, on Monday, September 8, 2025 to Wednesday, September 10, 2025 the LA 120 roadway will be closed to all traffic for an emergency cross drain replacement. The cross drain replacement will be near the intersection of LA 120 and SandStone Circle to the Bayou Scie bridges.
Permit/Detour section
Eastbound traffic will detour to US 171 Southbound to LA 1216 Eastbound to LA 175 Northbound and back to LA 120.
Westbound traffic will detour to LA 175 Southbound to LA 1216 Westbound to US 171 Northbound and back to LA 120.
