Herbicide application: US 165 NB and SB from US 90 to Oberlin – Jefferson Davis and Allen Parishes

Jefferson Davis and Allen Parishes – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced that crews will be conducting herbicide application from 7:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, and Thursday, September 4, 2025, on the inside and outside shoulders of US 165 Northbound and Southbound from US 90 to Oberlin.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
