NEW BRIDGE OPENING, H.002375 - LA 16 OVER AMITE RIVER IN FRENCH SETTLEMENT, LIVINGSTON PARISH

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces that the project to replace the swing bridge over the Amite River on LA 16 in French Settlement with a permanent concrete bridge will be open to traffic at 2 pm today.
As always, DOTD appreciates the patience of the traveling public and members of the communities who were impacted during the road closure and construction activities.
