Lane closure: I-10 WB (MM 27 to MM 29.5) – Calcasieu Parish

Calcasieu Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces that the right lane on Interstate 10 West from Mile Marker 27 to Mile Marker 29.5 (including the Calcasieu River Bridge) will be closed from 7 p.m. Thursday, September 4, 2025, until 5 a.m., Friday, September 5, 2025.
This closure is necessary to install signage and barrier rail for the closure of I-10 WB Exit 27 (Westlake) to accommodate the relocation of the Phillips 66 Pipe Rack project.
Detour signs will be in place to alert motorists traveling westbound on I-10 to take Exit 26 (US 90/PPG Drive/Trousdale) to access Westlake.

Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
