LANE CLOSURE: I-20 eastbound at Caney Creek, Bienville Parish
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that on Thursday, August 28, 2025, the inside (left) lane of I-20 eastbound at Caney Creek in Bienville Parish will be closed.
This lane closure is scheduled to take in place from approximately 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and is necessary to allow for emergency roadway repair.
This is located at approximately 2.44 miles west of the LA 154 (Exit 61-Gibsland) interchange. (see included map).
Restrictions/Permits: Existing permitted oversized loads will be accommodated through the work zone.
Alternate Route: No detour necessary.
This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
