Jefferson Davis Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced that improvement work on LA 1130 from US 190 to LA 26 in Elton is set to begin Tuesday, August 26, 2025.
Motorists should anticipate daytime lane closures throughout the duration of the project. The project is expected to last until late December or early January, weather permitting.
Work includes asphalt patching, milling, overlay and drainage.
