The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that LA 1 Northbound and Southbound will have intermittent left and right lane closures beginning Tuesday, September 2, 2025, to Wednesday, September 3, 2025, from 7:00pm to 4:00am. These lane closures are necessary to support multiple operations including the removal and placement of temporary striping and the placement of temporary concrete barriers along LA 1 Northbound and Southbound for the next traffic switch.
DOTD urges all drivers to reduce speed, obey posted signage, and remain alert for construction personnel and equipment operating in the work zone.
