UPDATE: The lane closure has been lifted, and all lanes are now open.

Calcasieu Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces that the right lane on the Interstate 10 Calcasieu River Bridge Westbound (Milepost 27.5 to Milepost 29.5) will be closed from 8 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. Thursday, August 28, 2025.
This closure is necessary for routine bridge maintenance.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
