Second Plaquemine ferry in Iberville Parish temporarily out of service

Baton Rouge, LA - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) advises the traveling public that the second Plaquemine ferry is out of service until further notice due to mechanical repairs.
While the second ferry is undergoing repairs, the primary ferry will have altered hours beginning Friday, August 22. The altered schedule is as follows:
- Monday – Friday: 4:00 am – 9:00 pm
- Saturday – Sunday: 9:30 am – 7:00 pm
