***NOW OPEN: LA 348 in Union Parish***
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that beginning Monday, August 25, 2025, there will be a road closure on LA 348, near Conway, in Union Parish.
This closure is located approximately 1.0 mile east of LA 549, and is necessary to perform routine bridge maintenance.
The closure is anticipated to last 2 weeks, and should be reopened on Friday, September 5, 2025.
Restrictions/Permits:
Total road closure at the specified location. All vehicles will need to utilize an alternate route.
Alternate Route:
Detour signage will be in place.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
