The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that, weather permitting, on Wednesday, August 20, 2025 at 7:00am, road construction will begin on LA 112, beginning at a joint line located 0.25 miles east of I-49 NB to the intersection of US 71 NB. Alternating lane closures are to be expected. The estimated completion date for this project is September 2025.
This 2.38 mile construction project consists of milling, asphalt concrete overlay, permanent striping, and related work.
This contract was awarded to Diamond B Construction Co., L.L.C. in the amount of $479,564.45.

There are no detours at this time associated with these alternating lane closures.
