Herbicide application: US 165 from Oberlin to Rapides Parish Line – Allen Parish

Allen Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced that crews will be conducting herbicide application along US 165 from Oberlin to the Rapides Parish Line from 8:30 a.m. until 3 p.m. Wednesday, August 13, 2025.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
