NOW OPEN: LA 87 Bridge (3.87 miles south of LA 323), St. Mary Parish, Bridge Closure

UPDATE: The La. 87 bridge is now OPEN to traffic.
Effective immediately, LA 87 bridge (3.87 miles south of LA 323) is closed until further notice.
The detour will not be posted but will consist of LA 87, LA 182 and LA 670.
This closure is necessary to allow for structural repairs.
Emergency vehicles will not have access to the area and will need to seek alternate routes.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
