$17 million preservation project set to begin on U.S. 90 in Iberia Parish

IBERIA PARISH, La. – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announces that beginning Monday, August 11, construction will begin on a $17,999,665.37 project on U.S. 90 eastbound & westbound between La. 88 and La. 14.
SCOPE OF WORK The project will consist of pavement patching, asphalt concrete overlay with paved shoulders, roadway reinforcing mesh, guardrail, pavement markings, and related work.
WORK SCHEDULE Work is expected to take place Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. along with intermittent night work, weather permitting.
TRAVEL IMPACTS U.S. 90 Eastbound and Westbound will remain open with intermittent lane closures and ramp closures that will be announced in subsequent press releases.
The project is expected to be completed in summer of 2027.
