The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that the LA 1 Northbound will have a rolling right lane closure starting Thursday August 14th, 2025 from 7:00pm to 4:00am,and pending any inclement weather , LA -1 Northbound will have a rolling right lane closure on Thursday, August 21st, 2025 from 7:00pm to 4:00am. These closures are required to facilitate the installation of temporary striping along the northbound side of the LA-1 Intracoastal Canal Bridge.
DOTD urges all drivers to reduce speed, obey posted signage, and remain alert for construction personnel and equipment operating in the work zone.
