Ramp Shoulder Closure: I-10 Westbound Exit 27 – Calcasieu Parish

Calcasieu Parish - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces that the Interstate 10 Westbound off-ramp shoulder at Exit 27 (Westlake) will be closed nightly from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. starting Tuesday, August 5, 2025, through Thursday, August 7, 2025.
The closure is necessary for crews to position concrete barrier rail along the edge of the shoulder. The Exit 27 off-ramp will remain open to traffic.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
