LANE/RAMP CLOSURE: I-49 northbound near Hollywood/Pierremont Rd, Caddo Parish The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that on Thursday, August 7, 2025, the right (outside) lane of I-49 northbound at the Hollywood/Pierremont Rd interchange (Exit 203) will be closed.
Additionally, the I-49 northbound on-ramp from Pierremont Rd. will be closed.
This lane/ramp closure is scheduled to take place from approximately 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and is necessary to allow DOTD crews to perform emergency roadway repairs at this location.
Periods of extreme heat can cause pavement to expand, resulting in buckling at the roadway joints that can occur quickly and without warning. DOTD crews are prepared to address these ‘blow-ups’, as they’re commonly referred to.

Restrictions/Permits: Existing permitted oversized loads will be accommodated through the work zone.

This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
