BRIDGE CLOSURE: LA 169 over 12 Mile Bayou, Caddo Parish
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that beginning on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, the LA 169 bridge over 12 Mile Bayou east of Mooringsport in north Caddo Parish will be closed daily.
This bridge closure is scheduled to take place from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily through Tuesday, August 19, 2025. This is necessary to allow DOTD crews to perform repairs to the structure.
This bridge is located approximately 1.6 miles east of the intersection with LA 1. (see included map)
Restrictions/Permits: Total bridge closure during the specified days/times.
Alternate Route: Detour signage will be in place. LA 1 or I-49 are alternate routes.
This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment. Remember to leave plenty of room between you and the vehicle in front of you.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
