Carrollton Ave. I-10 westbound on-ramp to close 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily for repairs

New Orleans – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) provides an update on the I-10 westbound Carrollton Ave. on-ramp and the I-10 westbound Airline Hwy. off-ramp in Orleans Parish.
  • Repairs to permanently fix support beams damaged in a garbage truck collision will start Monday, July 28, and are estimated to continue through the end of August.
  • Once finished, both the I-10 westbound Carrollton on-ramp and the I-10 westbound Airline Hwy. off-ramp will fully reopen to vehicular traffic.
  • The Carrollton on-ramp will be closed daily from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. to allow contractors to perform repairs. Accessibility will resume after 4 p.m. each day until the next morning. During this period, motorists can access westbound I-10 through the Airline Hwy. entrance.
  • To expedite the project, work will be performed seven days a week, weather permitting.
