Alternating lane closure: LA 27 between Kelso Bayou Bridge and Ellender Bridge – Cameron Parish

Cameron Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced that alternating lane closures and shoulder work along LA 27 between Kelso Bayou Bridge and Ellender Bridge will be in effect, starting Tuesday, July 22, 2025, through mid-August 2025.
Lane closures will be in effect daily between the hours of 7 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. All closures are weather dependent.
The closure is necessary for crews to perform road maintenance.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
