I-55 Southbound Lane Closure, South of Ruddock, LA, near Mile Marker 3.4 – St. John the Baptist Parish – Bridge Maintenance

There will be I-55 Southbound intermittent and alternating left and right lane closure scheduled as follows between Ruddock (Exit 7) and Laplace (Exit 1), near Mile Marker 3.4, while crews perform bridge maintenance operations, weather permitting:
ALTERNATING LEFT AND RIGHT LANE CLOSURES:
Tuesday (7/22/2025): 9AM – 5PM: I-55 Southbound Left Lane Closure near Mile Marker 3.4
Permit Information:
Oversize loads are restricted to 12 feet in width. Emergency vehicles will have access. Motorists may encounter a slight delay during this time.
Detour Information:
The following routes may be used to avoid the lane closures: Motorist traveling I-55 South may take Ruddock Exit 7, then south to Laplace Exit 1 to re-intersect I-55, or Exit 209 to continue to I-10.
