Alternating lane closures: LA 82 EB and WB at Superior Canal Bridge – Cameron Parish

Cameron Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced there will be alternating single lane closures along LA 82 at the Superior Canal Bridge, starting Monday, July 21, 2025, through Sunday, August 10, 2025.
Closures will be in effect from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m. daily.
The closure is necessary for crews to perform bridge repairs associated with State Project H.014549 – repairs to Superior and Canal Bridge and Grand Chenier Bridge.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
